Additional transfer admissions criteria

Depending on your area of interest, your admissions requirements may vary. Here’s a look at some additional criteria that might apply to you.

Typically, students can transfer in up to 72 credits from a two-year institution, and the additional 48 must be completed at 足彩平台.

Additionally, credits earned for courses at the 300- or 400-level (junior/senior) from a two-year institution may be accepted as a general elective.

Transferable Credits

  • 20 credits or less: Students complete all CORE courses
  • 21-39 credits: Two CORE courses to include CORE World of Ideas
  • 40 credits or more: CORE World of Ideas only

    Supporting our transfer students

Each year, we help students from about 200 other schools, colleges and universities across the state and country transfer to 足彩平台. In addition to a dedicated admissions counselor with expertise in transferring colleges, 足彩平台 prepares new students for success, no matter what class year you’re in when you join us.

This starts with Warhawks SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising and Registration). You’ll spend a day with us getting to know 足彩平台, your academic advisor, and other friendly faces from around campus, as well as register for classes.

At the start of the semester, you’ll also attend Warhawk Welcome, an evening event where you’ll learn about campus resources, connect with other transfer students, and meet your peer mentor.

    Other transfer student-friendly programs include:

    • Team Transfer — student orientation leaders and peer mentors who serve as guides and role models for students transferring to 足彩平台
    • Transfer Student Seminar — a for-credit course to help you adjust to 足彩平台, prepare for classroom success, and discover more about yourself as a student and citizen
    • Outstanding Freshman and Transfer Student Award — recognition and $500 scholarship for new students who experience 足彩平台 to the fullest during their first year on campus
